Description

The iconic 4-some face all the absurdities of social obligation in this classic: they must bring wine and cake to a dinner party.They detour to a bakery to get a chocolate babka, only to lose their spot in line — and end up navigating pastry snubs, a cake with a hair, and a symbolic black-and-white cookie that invites pontification about racial harmony (“look to the cookie!”). Meanwhile, George and Kramer struggle to break a $100 bill at a liquor store and deal with a double-parked car. By night’s end, they arrive just long enough to drop off the wine and cake — and leave.
